Freight Forwarding Clerk for Transport Administration in the Night Shift - Atlantic Beach, United States - SilverLinx
Description
- You support our team in the area of shipment research and procurement during the night shift (8:00 PM - 4:30 AM)
- As a contact person for (inter)national LTL transports, you maintain close contact with our branches and monitor critical shipments
- You are in direct contact with our drivers, monitor routes throughout the day, and coordinate with our handling warehouse
- You independently check the transport completion and correct feedback in our system, including for packaging management
- You control the quality and react situationally based on your experience in daily operations
- Independent document control and data transmission
- You have completed a vocational training as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk or a commercial apprenticeship
- You have experience in handling transports in a freight forwarding company
- You have a quick grasp and can quickly familiarize yourself with our transport management systems
- Professional experience in a (LTL) freight forwarding company and knowledge of processes are a great advantage
- You can express yourself well in German (spoken and written) and also have some knowledge of the English language
- Determination, a high level of service orientation, and self-motivation are among your strengths
