We Are Hiring:

Department:Med Surg

Schedule:0.5 FTE | 20 hours a week | Part-time | Evening, five 8 hour shifts per two week schedule | 3 PM - 11:30 PM | Weekend and holiday commitment

What You Will Do:
Assist with basic patient care activities and perform administrative and clerical duties in support of an assigned clinical area.

  • Assist with procedures and/or patient with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and/or transfers/transport.
  • May receive and screen visitors and telephone calls, and handles general inquiries.
  • File, distribute mail and perform other clerical duties as assigned.
  • Type various reports and documents for unit staff.
  • Photocopy and distribute and/or files as necessary.
  • Assist with the maintenance of supplies and equipment.
  • May assist with keeping patient rooms clean and
orderly.

  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation.
  • Observe and reports promptly any changes in patient behavior and physical status to the RN.
  • Notify RN promptly of patient.

What You Will Need:

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work within a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of medical terminology class preferred.

Work Experience:

  • Experience in the job related field preferred.

Additional Preferences:
Current member in CNA registry in good standing and able to work in the state of Wisconsin.

Prefer hospital CNA experience
