AccuMark Diagnostics is hiring a part time phlebotomy technician.

(Will be in office and home blood draws)

*Will be required to do in office training/certification for drug testing.

*Must have phlebotomy experience*
Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens from patients
• Follow proper aseptic technique and infection control protocols during specimen collection
• Label and process specimens for laboratory testing
• Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results
• Provide exceptional patient service and ensure patient comfort during the phlebotomy process
• Adhere to laboratory procedures and quality control standards
• Assist with other laboratory tasks as needed, including urine drug screens and breath alcohol testing (will train)

Skills:

• Proficient in venipuncture and specimen collection techniques
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Excellent patient care skills, including the ability to put patients at ease during the phlebotomy process
• Familiarity with laboratory procedures and specimen processing
• Attention to detail and accuracy in recording patient information and test results

Note:
Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician may be required for this position.
