In-home Special Needs Caregiver

We are looking for various caregivers to care for a young 22-year-old adult male with Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood ).

This position is in-home at residence.


Qualification:

• Compassionate, Engaging & Patient
• Provide direct support and care to individuals' needs.
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as:

Dressing

Meal preparation.

Cleaning, Cooking Laundry

Errands and day trips with this young adult.

• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require.

Assist with mobility and transfers.

Heavy lifting

Extended periods of walking.

• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients.
• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as assisted living or social work is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with son and family.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with mínimal supervision.

Must have:

• Valid driver's license
• Transportation to and from work
• Strength is required.
• Experience is preferred but not needed.
• Training will be provided.
• Must be flexible.

Schedule:

• 4to8hour shifts

Monday - Friday

Shifts Available:
(8:00 am to 1:00 pm) (1:00 pm - 5:00 pm) (5:00 to 9:00 pm)


Saturday & Sunday

Shifts Available:
(8:00 am to 12:00 pm) (12:00 pm to 4:00 pm) (4:00 pm to 8:00 pm)


Friday and Saturday on call: 8:00 pm to 2:00 am


PAY:

- $20.50 per hour will be increasing with the new state contract

• Expected hours: 48 per shift.
