Fully remote. Public Trust Clearance required.
Position thru June 28, 2024 with possibility of continuation


Overview


TENICA Global Solutions in support of a federal government customer requires a full-time, experienced Records Manager to assist with reviewing and updating records schedules and identifying those records that contain information covered in National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and appropriate organizational records schedules.


Responsibilities

  • Review all current records schedules, identify records schedules requiring updates
  • Update existing records schedules, and coordinate review of updated records schedule with appropriate program offices for their review/clearance
  • Identify items that should fall under a records schedule
  • Draft proposed records schedules to cover newly identified records
  • Survey existing IT Systems, and identify those systems that contain possible records that meet NARA and agency schedules
  • Provide recommendation on the type of records, the system where they are stored, and best practices to capture/retain for temporary storage, or transfer to NARA for permanent retention.

Qualifications

  • Critical thinking, and detail oriented individual with exceptional time management, writing, analytical and organizational skills
  • Experience with NARA guidelines, Federal Government records management, and proven success drafting/updating federal records schedules
  • 5+ years experience in Records Management; 3+ years experience working in an electronic records management environment
  • Information Technology (IT) systems knowledge and experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent customerfacing skills
  • Capable of working well as a team, as well as independently
  • Capable of simultaneously managing multiple projects with different deadlines

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma required, with Bachelors' degree preferred
