Kampnagel is a globally renowned international production house that presents a diverse program of dance, theater, performances, concerts, conferences, and various festivals and thematic focuses.

With six stages at Kampnagel and in the city, we showcase a cross-genre program featuring works by international artists and the local Hamburg scene, attracting approximately 180,000 visitors per season.


We are currently seeking a part-time (50 hours/month) employee to join our Kampnagel team as a Theater Box Office Assistant (m/f/d) starting on January 16, 2023.

The box office is the first point of contact for customers and represents Kampnagel in a special way.


Your responsibilities:

  • Providing information to the public about Kampnagel's program
  • Selling and reserving theater tickets at the box office during the day and evening
  • Selling merchandise items
  • Researching and implementing marketing initiatives

Our requirements:

  • Customer service orientation, sociability, communication and teamwork skills
  • Interest in contemporary theater of various genres
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of the Jet-Ticket sales system or a similar ticketing software is desirable
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and evenings
