    Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking an Accounting Specialist for a temp to hire opportunity with a growing, stable company located in Newport Beach.

    This position will be working onsite. Pay is $25-30 per hour depending on experience

    Responsibilities for the Accounting Specialist:
    • Will be responsible for handling that operational accounting duties for the AP and AR
    • Handle the credit, billing and collections
    • Set up credit terms, release orders and set up customer accounts
    • Process AP invoices, including 2/3- way matching and purchase orders
    • Handle research and discrepancies and reconcile vendor statements
    • Handle bank deposits, wire payments, credit card transactions and check runs
    Requirements for the Accounting Specialist:
    • AA is a plus or any accounting course work
    • 2-5 years of AP and AR experience
    • Experience with Sage or Peachtree a plus
    • Intermediate Excel skills (vlookup and pivot tables)
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent work ethic
    • Eager to learn and grow in accounting
