The Pricing, Pipeline and Insights team advises a cross-functional group of leaders on how to manage growth and profitability for Cash App and Afterpay's expanding suite of global payment network products.
The team sits in the Finance & Strategy organization and spends the vast majority of its time partnering with leaders in Sales, Business Development, Account Management, Product, Product Marketing, Operations, and more.
We are looking for a Finance & Strategy Analyst to join us at Block and help scale Cash App's expanding suite of global payment network products.
You will work with the Sales and Account Management team and help guide & influence the Sales & Account Management team's decision-making.
You Will:
- Make strategic, financial, and operational recommendations to the Sales and Account Management teams
- Develop (and improve) financial models that forecast product performance and produce new insights
- Provide visibility into the intersection of the sales pipeline and financial / business targets
- Help with annual budget setting, quarterly forecasting, and executive performance narratives
- Support quota and compensation plan setting
- Lead high visibility projects with partners
- Prepare adhoc financial analysis to support decisions and investment priorities
- Identify and implement process improvements
Qualifications
You Have:
- 2+ years experience in Strategic Finance or Analytics (including financial modeling and partner management experience)
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and slide design (there will be a case study)
- Experience leading projects with appropriate guidance
- Experience summarizing data and communicating insights to executivelevel audiences
Even better:
- Experience working with Sales and/or Account Management leadership
- Experience leading highvisibility projects from start to finish
- Experience with SQL
- Experience in the software, payments, or financial technology industries
