Description:
- AN/SPY1 Operator, Instructor, and curriculum developer: This individual will join a multiinstructor and developer workforce providing Aegis and BMD course materials and instruction for our U.S. and International Program customers.
- Develop innovative training solutions and recommendations to support emerging training requirements, provide technical liaison between OEM, product development teams and internal and external customers, support/attend technical meetings, develop specialized briefs, and develop and present training materials for Aegis and BMD.
- Domestic and Foreign travel is required
- Primary work location is Dahlgren, VA.
Basic Qualifications:
- Specialized experience related to operation and maintenance of the Aegis Weapon System.
- Ability to conduct training in both classroom and shipboard environments.
- Demonstrated ability to build and conduct presentations for senior U.S. or FMS Navy officials.
- Graduate of at least one AN/SPY1 series course.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with the Aegis Combat System representing at least one shipboard tour and one training/instructional tour.
- Master Training Specialist (MTS)
- Ability to develop curriculum IAW NAVEDTRA 130B and 131B
- Experience with curriculum development including AIM I, AIM II, or Content Planning Module/Learning Object Module (CPM/LOM)
- Familiarization with Microsoft Office (Power Point and Excel)

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
