This position is the lead in quality control, workflow management and production.In addition, this position serves as the client specialist to consult with clients and determine the best sign and graphics solution to meet their business needs.
As we are growing, the Production Manager will perform basic in-house marketing tasks to help keep the sales pipeline full.
In addition, this position serves as backup graphic designer.Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 5 years experience in the signage or associated industryThorough knowledge of sign industry substrates, media, productsStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Sharp attention to detail.
Keen multi-tasking abilities.
Ability to work independently and as an integral team member.
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with diverse customer/prospect base.
Expertise in the following software applications a plus:

Customer Serviceo Work with walk-in and phone-in clients in a consultative manner to understand their needs and provide guidance for best solution.o Estimate Creation and Follow-Upo Coordinate job scheduling / Project Managemento Serve as final quality control to ensure product / service is accurateo Conduct financial transactions for job deposits and final paymentso Basic In-house Marketing tasksB.
Job Productiono Facilitate morning production meetingso Serve as lead in all graphic and signage productiono Serve as lead in all graphic and signage installation - either as installer or install coordinator (per management)o Maintain a safe work environmentC.
Operation and Maintenance of Equipment:
Serve as back-up to operate plotter, laminator, wide-format equipment to produce client jobs.
Serve as back-up to maintain and monitor server and backup routines for all files produced in the Graphics department.
Serve as back-up to operate desktop and/or copier scanners as needed.
Serve as back-up to clean and maintain all equipment.
D. QualityMaintain superior quality on all individual work.
Work with team members to ensure superior quality on all jobs produced.

Inventory:
Monitor substrate and media to maintain just-in-time production materialsFollow management guidelines to place and receive material ordersMaintain accurate records for placing and receiving material ordersCoordinate equipment maintenance as needed per managementF
End of Day Procedures:
Dispose of waste materials in compliance with current environmental regulations.
Perform routine end of day procedures as determined by managementKeep work zone tidy and clutter free.

General:
Lead daily production meetings.
Work with management to reschedule workloads as necessary to meet promised due dates.
Maintain clean and organized Graphics area.
Abide by center policies/procedures as outlined.
