    Busy Labor & Employment law firm is looking for a Spanish speaking Legal Assistant for immediate hire. This is a full-time position in a welcoming office environment with growth opportunities. The role involves client communication, so personal and professional discretion are vital. The ideal candidate should excel in organizing work, critical thinking, time management, attention to detail, confidentiality, multitasking, clear communication both verbally and in writing, building effective relationships, and working well both independently and in a team.

    Job Duties Include:

    • Preparing various litigation documents like pleadings, motions, and briefs
    • Filing legal documents with courts and serving them to all parties
    • Assisting in arbitration demands and document serving
    • Preparing and serving discovery documents
    • Managing dockets, calendars, and attorney schedules
    • Coordinating legal proceedings and appointments

    Required Knowledge of: Microsoft Suite, Dropbox, Docusign, and time/billing software. Understanding legal terminology, court procedures, citation formats, Indexing, and office operations. Proficiency in English writing, grammar, and business letters.

    Minimum 2 years of law firm experience, a bachelor's degree, and/or paralegal training/certificate are essential. Prior experience with employment law is a plus but not mandatory. Salary based on experience. Competitive Compensation Package includes Health, Dental, Vision Insurance, holidays, vacations, sick leave, and discretionary bonuses.
