About the Role:


We are seeking a talented and experienced Office Manager to play a key role in the smooth operation of our practice.

You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the front and back office, from patient scheduling and billing to ensuring a seamless and positive patient experience.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage patient appointments efficiently, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations.
  • Handle patient intake, gathering pertinent information and updating medical records.
  • Verification of insurance eligibility and benefits.
  • Process insurance claims accurately and efficiently, coordinating with insurance companies and resolving any billing issues.
  • Supervise and manage office staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment.
  • Effectively communicate with patients, doctors, and other staff members, both verbally and in writing.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, healthcare administration) preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in optometry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Docs and Sheets.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong multitasking abilities with a focus on maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with medical and vision insurance billing procedures is a plus.
  • Positive and professional attitude with a commitment to patient satisfaction.

$ $25.00 per hour
