- Administer oral and injectable medications, ensuring availability of narcotics, and maintaining security of controlled substances.
- Monitor IV therapy and emergency equipment for seamless patient care.
- Develop and assess patient education plans for various medical conditions.
- Conduct procedures and wound care as prescribed by the provider team.
- Manage post-sedation patient recovery and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Assist in triaging walk-in patients and optimizing care workflow.
- Act as a mentor to LPNs and Clinic Assistants, advocating for patient needs.
- Collaborate with physicians to coordinate patient care and provide assistance with appointments and inquiries.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- At least 1 year of HMO or ambulatory setting experience or completion of an Ambulatory Care RN Transition to Practice Residency Program within the last 12 months.
- Experience in IV therapy.

- Must obtain Registered Nurse License for Virginia and Maryland within 6 months of hire. Basic Life Support certification required.
- Proficiency in relevant computer software.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Prior experience in surgical or wound care settings is a plus.
