    MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is looking for a MRI Technologist for a travel position in Chicago, Illinois.

    Job Description & Requirements

    • 40 hours per week
    • Shift: 8 hours, evenings
    • Employment Type: Travel

    MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, needs a skilled MRI Tech for a contract with a top healthcare client.

    Requirements

    • Completion of an approved School of Radiologic Technology
    • Valid state radiology registration
    • Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience, ideally in critical care
    • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology

    Duties Responsibilities

    MRI technologists operate MRI scanners, assisting in disease diagnosis.

    • Ensure safety around MRI scanners
    • Position patients and coils
    • Inject contrast media as needed
    • Set technical parameters
    • Recognize life threatening situations
    • Comply with regulations and guidelines
    • Deliver quality patient care
    • Maintain a safe work environment
