    Job DescriptionDescription: Performs all magnetic resonance imaging studies while under the general supervision of a licensed practitioner, for the purposes of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders at a technical level not requiring constant supervision and within the scope of their license.
    This opportunity is an "As Needed" basis.

    1. Performs all magnetic resonance imaging studies and administration of contrast media.

    2. Verifies physician orders for instructions from requesting physician and consults with the radiologists.

    3. Explains procedure and provides education as appropriate.

    4. Performs equipment warm up, calibration and safety check as needed. Operates hospital computer system.

    5. Responsible for departmental records. Accurately and promptly documents in departmental records.

    6. Communicates reactions, complications, changes in condition etc. to all involved in case.

    7. Performs staff/student education and orientation duties as needed.

    Requirements:

    Education and/or Experience

    • 1+ to 3 years experience preferred.
    • Graduate from an approved program in radiologic technology
    • IEMA license, ARRT certification in Radiologic Technolog.
