We are looking for a reliable and competent US Export Control Freight Forwarder in part-time for a long-term position. This is a successful and internationally active company in the metal and electrical industry, located in 28309 Bremen, that independently identifies and develops new markets, addresses current megatrends, and looks forward with innovation and creativity.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring compliance with US export laws, including resolving approval cases
  • Submitting applications to US authorities and assisting colleagues with product classification
  • Advising departments and communicating with relevant parties
  • Training colleagues on US export laws and optimizing internal processes
  • Preparing reports and ad-hoc analyses for management

Requirements:

  • Completed degree in business administration or economics law
  • Commercial training with experience in US export laws
  • Several years of experience in export control and proficient in MS Office and SAP MM
  • Excellent English skills and willingness to travel internationally
  • Strong organizational skills, communication skills, and ability to work independently
