Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in providing medication and healthcare services to patients.

Your responsibilities will include preparing and dispensing medications, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service.


Duties:

• Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Assist with medication inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications
• Maintain accurate patient records and prescription information
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding medications and prescriptions
• Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure accurate medication dosages and instructions
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Assist in the maintenance of pharmacy equipment

Skills:

• Knowledge of pharmacy operations, including medication preparation and dispensing processes
• Familiarity with hospital or critical care pharmacy settings
• Proficiency in IV infusion techniques and aseptic technique
• Strong understanding of medication administration procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment while prioritizing tasks
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Exceptional customer service skills with a patientcentered approach
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (additional certification or training is preferred)
• Valid Pharmacy Technician license or certification (statespecific requirements apply)
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not required
