Summary

Essential Duties:

The following reflects essential functions for this role but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned.

Quickly and effectively resolve customer service issues using active listening, patience and ability to deescalate the situation
Possess the innate ability to turn customer service problems into opportunities
Present additional purchasing or visitation opportunities relevant to customer history
Develop long term, personal relationships with customers built on trust
Reactivate and acquire new members
Keep customer data uptodate in the CRM
Conduct proactive customerservice outreach (credit card updates, welcoming new members, etc)
Participate in brand trainings and wine tastings
Attend and/or participate in occasional consumer events

Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience in a customer service role for a premium wine company or comparable industry
Professional and thoughtful written and verbal communicator
Knowledge of wine, food & local tourism industry
Knowledge of wine shipping logistics such as state laws and weather impacts
Proficient with PC software such as Outlook, Word & Excel
Possess a high degree of data entry accuracy
Familiarity with winebased CRM systems such as eCellar
Familiarity with Wine Shipping a plus

Physical requirements

Must be able to sit for long periods of time
Must be able to work at a desk work station
Must be able to operate office equipment such as a computer, copier, Fax machine
