Job Summary:

Cissell Mueller Construction, Inc is on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Superintendent to join our team.

As a pivotal member of our construction management, you will be responsible for overseeing commercial projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality, and driving successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Project Management: Effectively manage and coordinate all aspects of commercial construction projects, from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.

Subcontractor Management: Collaborate with subcontractors, ensuring seamless communication, monitoring performance, and maintaining quality standards.

Quality Assurance: Enforce the highest level of quality in construction work, conducting inspections, and addressing any deviations from project specifications.

Budget Oversight:Work closely with Project Managers to monitor project budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring efficient resource allocation.

Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying critical path activities and milestones to ensure timely project delivery.

Materials Coordination: Efficiently manage the delivery, tracking, and usage of construction materials, optimizing logistics for project efficiency.

Blueprint Interpretation: Interpret and understand construction blueprints, providing guidance to the project team and ensuring accurate execution.

Compliance and Safety:Conduct regular toolbox talks, safety meetings, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. Possession of OSHA 30 certification is a plus.

Specialized Experience: Bring specialized experience in fuel-related construction, restaurant construction, and bilingual capabilities as valuable assets to our team.

Qualifications:

years of proven experience as a Commercial Superintendent.

Strong understanding of blueprints, construction processes, and project management.
Familiarity with fuelrelated construction and restaurant construction is highly desirable.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
OSHA 30 certification is advantageous.
Bilingual capabilities are an asset.
Strong background or training in civil site work.
Able to manage all construction disciplines including civil, electrical, mechanical, structural, roofing, etc.
Able to handle change orders and negotiations with subcontractors.
Adept and comfortable at solving problems, creative at finding solutions to challenges, and flexible when resolving conflicts.
Able to make good decisions based on good analysis of relative factors.
Able to communicate ideas and give specific directions effectively.
Able to deal with frustration and job pressures.
Selfmotivated with the skills to motivate others without supervision.
Strong business & financial acumen.
Strong computer, oral, written, and communication skills.
