    ABOUT THE JOB

    The People Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for providing strategic business partnership and coaching, as well as developing people-related solutions to meet critical business needs. The PBP will work collaboratively with People Ops. colleagues, department leaders and employees in the areas of organizational effectiveness, employee relations, employee engagement, performance management, and diversity and inclusion.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Serves as a trusted advisor, coach and valued business partner to global leaders and their teams by providing thoughtful solutions to complex issues
    • Evaluates and analyzes HR data and information to understand the people issues impacting the business units, and proactively works to find systemic solutions to the issues
    • Drives tactics to improve overall organizational effectiveness by leveraging in-depth understanding of the company culture and business operating model
    • Seeks opportunities to align or create programs, processes, and initiatives with OneStream's desire for a diverse and inclusive workplace
    • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues and conducts workplace investigations as needed
    • Supports department leaders in people development efforts, inclusive of helping them craft and deliver effective feedback loops, ex: new hire and semi-annual performance appraisals
    • Leverages various feedback channels to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement
    • Partners with HR colleagues in the Center of Excellence (COE) model (e.g., recruiting, onboarding, learning and development, compensation, and benefits) to ensure a holistic delivery of HR support to the business
    • Partners with finance and accounting departments to ensure that HR programs align with the overall business plan
    • Actively protect confidential and sensitive information, operating with autonomy and discretion

    QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

    Formal Education and Certification

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or an equivalent area of study
    • 4+ years of progressive HR experience, in a generalist or business partner capacity. 6+ years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement
    • Demonstrated experience applying knowledge of local, state, and federal labor/EEO laws

    Knowledge and Experience

    • Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP) certification
    • Experience working in an organization during periods of high growth and change
    • Experience supporting a virtual workforce across multiple states
    • Experience partnering with leaders and teams outside of the US
    • Experience leveraging behavioral science and/or design thinking principles to build effective programs and processes
