    Join our dynamic STAR team float pool. Two 12 hour shifts. 7pm to 7:30am, every other weekend and every other holiday; Additional differential incentive

    The Hospital of Central Connecticut is actively hiring Float Registered Nurses (RN) for our Med Surg units across multiple hours and shifts.

    Our Float Med Surg Registered Nurses have the opportunity to practice at the top of their license, using research, innovation and evidence-based practices.

    We offer our Registered Nurses clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities

    Qualifications

    Minimum one-year recent Acute Care RN experience required.

    Current Connecticut RN License required prior to start date.

    Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred).

    BLS certification by the American Heart Association

    Demonstrates excellence in customer service

    Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.

    Self-directed in clinical responsibilities.

    Ability to manage and organize multiple clinical priorities.

    Ability to delegate to achieve patient outcomes.
