Description

Are you passionate about child welfare and building positive relationships with foster children and their families? If so, our Foster Care Caseworker and Visitation Monitor role might be a perfect fit for you

As part of their role, the Foster Care Caseworker and Visitation Monitor, under the supervision of a program director, regularly meets with the children and youth on their caseload.

They provide essential casework and case management services, ensuring that the children's needs are met, advocating for them when services fall short, and actively involving client families in the overall treatment and planning process for their children.

Furthermore, the worker will fulfill assigned drives and visits as necessary through the Transportation and Visitation Program.

This involves transporting children and/or adults to visitations and overseeing visits between children in out-of-home care and their family members.

The approach during these visits is strengths-based and solution-focused, emphasizing full engagement with both the child and family members. Additionally, there may be occasions when court testimony is required, and some evening or weekend hours may be necessary.
