    Staff Accountant

    About the Company and Staff Accountant Opportunity:

    • This construction company is seeking a Staff Accountant who they will pour into developing into a Controller
    • Report directly to the Controller
    • W/L balance
    • Work with a tenured, successful company and team

    Overview of the Staff Accountant role:

    • The Staff Accountant will work closely with the controller to ensure financials are developed, analyzed, and reported to management.
    • The Staff Accountant will prepare financial statements and reports
    • Manage all aspects of Fixed Assets - acquisitions, dispositions, depreciation, and tracking
    • The Staff Accountant will assist in the work in progress schedules

    Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance OR related experience
    • Entry level up to 3+ years of experience
    • Job costing experience (+)
