    AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

    The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success.

    AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

    At AWS, we are hiring the best hands-on technical architects and systems development engineers, who can help our clients and partners deploy and operate their business-critical applications taking advantage of the global scale, elasticity, automation and high-availability features of the AWS cloud.

    Our consultants will collaborate with partner and client teams to deliver proof-of-concept projects, conduct topical workshops, and lead implementation projects.

    These professional services engagements will focus on customer solutions built with CloudFormation, API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, SQS, CloudWatch, Kinesis, and others.

    Key job responsibilities
    As Staff Consultant you will manage projects independently and also deliver as part of larger teams.

    You will work with customers and partners internalizing their context while using your business and technical skills to design solutions based on requirements and constraints.

    You will own and complete key tasks and deliverables, and collaborate with others to define and implement optimal, complete solutions based on stakeholders needs.

    You will work towards customer business outcomes, ensuring there is a strong connection between delivery activities and business objectives.

    This is a customer facing role. You will be required to travel to client locations and deliver professional services when needed.

    • Knowledge of the primary aws services (ec2, elb, rds, route53 & s3)
    • Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments
    • 5+ years of IT implementation experience
    • Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies
    • Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or recent handson technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience
