Description/Job Summary

Position Responsibilities

Support energy planning, including the development of installation Energy and Water Plans
Conduct energy audits and develop energy conservation measures.
Develop energy efficiency improvements for facilities.
Analyze energy, water, and other utility data.
Provide energy training and support awareness initiatives.
Conduct design reviews.
Support the development of energy resilience projects, including the integration of onsite renewable energy, energy storage, and microgrids.
Develop decarbonization and electrification solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emission associated with power generation and transportation.
Support energy project implementation through ESPC, UESC, and ERCIP projects, and other energy funded projects.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

A fouryear engineering degree (preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering) and/or a registered Professional Engineer registration with a minimum of 9 years of experience in energy management.
An Environmental Science, business or related degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience in energy management.
A twoyear technical degree with a minimum of 15 years of experience in energy management.
No degree with a minimum of 18 years of experience in energy management.
Background in energy management and experience with onsite renewable energy generation, energy storage, and microgrid projects as well as alternative financing contract vehicles.
Experience supporting the development and implementation of energy projects.
Knowledge of Department of Defense energy management requirements a plus.
Current Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), or ability to obtain certification within 12 months.
Excellent oral/written communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
Critical thinking and decisionmaking skills coupled with strong analysis and problemsolving skills.
Selfstarter, driven and able to work with limited direction under target timelines.
Collaborative personality enjoys and able to work effectively, independently and in a teamoriented environment.
Working knowledge of standard office computer software (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
US Citizenship is required.
Ability to pass a governmentadministered background investigation in order to be granted a Common Access Card and access to government IT systems.
