Job Title:
Level 3 Networking Technician

Job Overview:

As a Level 3 Networking Technician, you will play a critical role in leading networking projects, installing and maintaining network infrastructure, troubleshooting network issues, and overseeing on-site technicians.

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of networks and associated systems, including retail displays, security systems, and electronic components.

This position offers an opportunity to lead, innovate, and grow within a dynamic team environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage networking projects, including planning, implementation, and documentation.
  • Run and terminate Cat5/Cat6 cables in accordance with industry standards.
  • Install and configure routers, switches, and other networking equipment.
  • Troubleshoot networked devices and systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Install retail displays, proprietary security systems, and electronic components as needed.
  • Merchandise products according to specifications and guidelines.
  • Oversee Level 1 and Level 2 technicians on-site, providing guidance and support as necessary.
  • Perform advanced networking installations as required.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of networking technologies, protocols, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless integration of network systems.

Requirements:


  • Experience in networking or related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in running and terminating Cat5/Cat6 cables.
  • Strong knowledge of networking principles and protocols.
  • Experience installing and configuring routers, switches, and other networking equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot networked devices and systems effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a passion for leading and mentoring others.
  • Availability to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
