Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and protocols to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations
• Manage and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and backofhouse areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of guest requests and maintenance issues
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
• Monitor budgetary guidelines and control costs related to housekeeping operations
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for staff
• Address guest complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally

Experience:

• Previous experience in custodial or industrial cleaning is required
• Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry is preferred
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team
• Proficient computer skills for managing schedules, inventory, and reports

$14.00 per hour
