    Description


    Selectek is partnering with a company located near Milwaukee, Wisconsin to fill a PLC Programmer role on a direct-hire basis.

    This client serves large manufacturing clients by automating roller and web-converting machinery used for textiles/woven materials and product packaging/labeling.Â

    Employment Type:
    Direct Hire

    Expected Pay Range:
    $110,000 - $130,000 depending on certification and experience

    Location:
    Milwaukee, Wisconsin


    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's in Engineering (Electrical or Industrial/Manufacturing)
    • 5 + years of experience working in automation and controls design
    • Proficiency with complex Rockwell programming will be crucial
    • Knowledge of FactoryTalk Panelviews for operator interface
    • Strong background in AutoCAD Electrical
    • Machine startup experience (I/O Checkout)
    • Candidates must be willing to travel 515% of the year, possibly for a few weeks at a time
    In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the client's request. Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

    Job Details:

    • Programming Rockwell PLCs and FactoryTalk Panelview HMIs
    • Generate detailed P&ID drawings and wiring schematics Â
    • Provide aftermarket support, including overthephone troubleshooting and parts ordering
    • Support sales, service, and manufacturing departments with technical knowledge
    • Generate item requisitions for purchased parts
    • Keep stakeholders up to date on project progress

    Schedule:
    Â Flexible. Some employees work four ten-hour days. Eight-hour employees can start between 6:00a-9:00a during the week.Â
