Our Jamaica/Queens/New York branch is looking for a new Air Logistics Operational Care Team Leader to join our Air Logistics team.


Your Role:
Supervise the dispatch process by offering assistance/guidance to dispatch staff as needed. You correct and/or alert potential or real problems to management. Be the right hand to the Dispatch Manager.


Your Responsibilities:


  • This is a 24/7/365 facility and flexibility for overtime, weekend and holidays is required
  • Supervise the dispatch employees and over 100 independent contractors
  • Help handle all related dispatch activities as needed, i.e. training, problem jobs, etc.
  • Cover the driver / IC payroll as needed
  • Dispatch all jobs to drivers quickly and accurately
  • Communicate with Control Towers,airlines and vendors with status updates
as required

  • Document and escalate all problems/situations as per company policy
and procedures

  • Report vehicle accidents/driver incidents immediately to Manager/HR
  • Help schedule and manage staff & vehicle repairs and equipment
  • You report to the Dispatch Manager

Your Skills and Experiences:


  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ of customer service experience
  • 3+ years of Dispatch experience for a 3PL
  • 1+ experience in a leadership role
  • Expert in Microsoft 365

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles.

Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
