Summary/Objective:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Scribe. The Medical Scribe is a vital member of the medical staff, who will assists physicians with paperwork.
You'll be required to complete summaries of what was discussed during the consultation or treatment session and referral letters sent on behalf of your patient's insurer.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing medical notes for accuracy, editing, and submitting to insurance carriers.
- Open and create followup items to be addressed following patient encounters.
- Working with Physician/Doctor to complete and submit medical records within 24 hours of encounters.
- Completing administrative tasks efficiently.
- May be assigned various clerical tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Medical Scribe or similar role.
- Ability to expertly document patient care and transcribe patient appointments
- Assure the accuracy of all documentation and records
- Advanced computer skills to transcribe and record information across our network
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle highpressure situations effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Higher Education/Aspirations are highly desired
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.50 per week

Experience:
- Typing: 1 year (preferred)

- SCRIBE OR MEDICAL PARALEGAL: 1 year (required)

- Westwood, NJ 07675: Relocate before starting work (required)
