Hours:
Monday - Thursday, 4:45pm-3:15am


Position Summary:

The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for performing a wide variety of quality control functions and operation support.


Reports to:
Quality Supervisor


Functional Responsibilities:


  • Perform routine audits of production processes in all production areas.
  • Identify and quantify critical, major and minor defects.
  • Verify that incoming packaging components meet specification and release them for use in production.
  • Perform incoming raw ingredient sampling.
  • Review work order and production paperwork ensuring that results are within established specification ranges and Good Documentation Practices are followed.
  • Coordinate the control or release of conforming and nonconforming products.
  • Pull samples from manufactured lots and perform confirmatory testing of finished products and WIP using AQL statistical plan.
  • Communicate effectively with various employees, including operators, mechanics, leads, and department management to ensure that quality standards are met.
  • Must be fully trained and competent in all required areas.

Required Experience, Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1-5 Years of Quality Control experience, preferred
  • Experience in an OTC, Pharmaceutical or Food/Beverage company, preferred
  • FDA regulatory compliance experience (21 CFR Parts 210 & 211), preferred

Educational Qualifications:

High School Degree or equivalent required

Pay:
$ $25.82 per hour
