Position Summary


The research analyst is expected to increase their methodological expertise and substantive knowledge for lifecourse determinants of disparities in Alzheimer's diseases and other related dementias, and build skills for developing and implementing research studies.

They will contribute to the development of analysis workflows and projects to answer targeted research questions about lifecourse determinants of aging and health.

They will perform population health research activities, including designing and conducting studies, managing various datasets, performing data analyses, helping with manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals, and providing other research and methodological support for existing and ongoing studies of the research team including generating manuscripts or academic presentations.


Responsibilities:

Statistical Analysis on principal projects

  • 60%
Assistance with data analyses of the team - 20%

Data Management - 15%

Other related duties as assigned - 5%

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications

  • A master's degree in epidemiology or biostatistics or a related field. Programming experience in STATA and R is preferred. Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and independent project management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
