    Responsibilities:

    • Provide classroom management and create a positive learning environment for students
    • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
    • Supervise and ensure the safety of children in the classroom
    • Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote a productive learning environment
    • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience for students
    • Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians

    Skills:

    • Experience working with students, preferably in a childcare or educational setting
    • Knowledge of child development principles and ageappropriate teaching methods
    • Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively plan lessons and manage classroom activities
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
    • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
    • Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in children


    Please note that experience in culinary, theater, adult education, or preschool settings is a plus but not required for this position.
