Checkout Coach / Front End Team Lead ensure effective and profitable operations of the Front End department through sales maximization and employee growth.

Checkout Coaches ensure customers receive polite, friendly service; are responsible for scheduling of the department; ensure department is compliant with company standards and all state and federal laws; train and develop department Team Members; and implement and maintain an in-store culture that ensures growth.


The Checkout Coach / Front End Team Lead reports directly to the Assistant Store Manager of Customer Experience and Store Manager.


PRIMARY ROLE:

  • Provide exceptional Customer Service
  • Product Ordering / Inventory Control
  • Writing Schedules / Managing Staff / Training
  • Reconcile Invoices and Financials / Financial Comprehension
  • Quality Assurance
  • Oversees and supervises all Front End cashiers.
  • Assists in checkout, clears computers or registers when necessary.
  • Resolves all customer disputes or problems.
  • Assists in bagging merchandise.
  • Opens or closes checkout lanes based on the customer checkout load or lines.
  • The team member ensures that all company initiatives are being carried out by the carriers (Donation Requests Programs, Choice Rewards Program, Shrink Initiatives, etc.)
  • Oversees total store floor maintenance program throughout the day and evening hours, parking lot sanitation, and restroom compliance

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
  • Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner and to comply with Company policies and safety regulations.
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to lift 10lbs. to 50lbs. occasionally
  • Knowledge of Front End operations
  • Ability to supervise people, including: training and development; resolving workplace issues in a fair and consistent manner; and maintaining positive Associate morale
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements on the job
  • Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills
  • Ability to bend, kneel, stand, push/pull stock carts and operate a pallet jack for extended periods of time

Pay:
$ $18.00 per hour

Education:


  • High school or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Easton, PA 18045: Relocate before starting work (required)
