- 3+ years of experience in a regulated/quality field
- Bachelor's degree in science or a related field
- Certifications in cGMP and familiarity with regulatory norms are preferred
- Proficiency in using MS Office and quality management software
- Skills in project management and strong analytical abilities are crucial
- Experience in supplier management roles for at least two years
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments
- The capacity for occasional travel, when necessary
- Evaluate suppliers through rigorous assessments and on-site audits to ensure compliance with quality systems
- Develop and execute action plans based on audit findings to boost supplier performance
- Spearhead quality assurance initiatives that enhance product consistency and reliability
- Support new product development (NPD) with a focus on incoming purchased finished goods
- Establish and maintain quality best practices and streamline processes across the supply chain
- Maintain and regularly update supplier performance evaluations and audit protocols
- Conduct inspections and periodic evaluations of incoming materials and finished products
- Coordinate with purchasing, manufacturing, quality, and R&D teams to enhance overall product quality
- Identify, report, and resolve quality issues that could impact product safety, efficacy, or regulatory compliance
- Lead reviews for scale-up and pilot batch production, including compliance with development processes
- Facilitate the development of test criteria and product specifications
