LOCATION OF POSITION:

Maryland Cannabis Administration, Office of Laboratory Services, Baltimore, Maryland


Main Purpose of Job:

This position will be responsible for performing laboratory sampling, preparation and storage of licensed cannabis and environmental samples which require testing by the Reference Laboratory.

Under the direction of the Maryland Cannabis Administration (MCA)'s Office of Laboratory Services (OLS)' Laboratory Supervisor, this position will prepare cannabis samples for analytical and microbiological testing.


  • This position will require technical laboratory experience, as well as organizational skills and attention to detail. This position will also require the ability to travel across the State of Maryland for sampling purposes, along with the ability to collaborate with the Scientists within the OLS.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


Education:
An Associate of Arts degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited college or university.


Experience:
Two years of experience performing public health, medical or environmental laboratory testing.
