The Federal Association of City and Town Marketing Germany (bcsd e.
V.) was founded in Berlin in 1996.

The bcsd strengthens the development of city marketing and creates networks for the discussion of the city of the future.

As a federal association, it represents city and town marketing organizations from more than 400 cities throughout the country.

The office is responsible for the administration of the association and the support of its members in all professional areas.

It organizes conferences, seminars, conducts public relations work, and coordinates advocacy efforts with cooperation partners from politics and society.

We are looking for a Deputy Managing Director (m/f/d, preferably full-time) to start on July 1, 2023.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Managing the association in collaboration with the Managing Director and the honorary federal board; acting as a general deputy for the Managing Director
Participating in federal board meetings and developing strategies and concepts for the association's work
Responsibility for comprehensive internal and external communication for the association, as well as press and public relations work
Establishing and maintaining contacts with relevant actors from academia and civil society, associations, media, politics, and administration at the federal and state level
Supporting colleagues in the state associations of the bcsd

University degree and relevant professional experience
