As a Malabar Administration Assistant, you will work in various offices of the city, such as the Residents' Office, the Regulatory Office, or the Office for Financial Control


Your tasks will include:

  • Completing office and administrative tasks
  • Advising citizens
  • Processing applications The training program lasts a total of 2 years

Practical Part:

  • Takes place in various offices of the city administration
  • Consists of 2 practical phases in which you will learn different content from the following areas:
  • General administrative tasks
  • Finance, budget, cash and accounting, property management, business operations
  • Social affairs, health and sports
  • Legal and regulatory tasks
  • Construction and housing

Theoretical Part:

  • Vocational school classes take place twice a week at the KlausSteilmann Vocational College in Bochum
  • You will be taught subjects such as administrative business studies, data processing, and civil law
  • Once a week, there will be accompanying classes at the Ruhr Study Institute for Municipal Administration in

Dortmund Completion:

The completion of the Administration Assistant program enables you to: * Apply for the part-time employee course II with good performance in theory and practice and after several years of professional experience.
