YOUR EDUCATION

You combine practical training as a nursing specialist at the University Hospital Cologne with a Bachelor's degree in "Clinical Nursing" from the University of Cologne
The training and studies take place simultaneously during the first three years. At the end of the third year, you will complete the training with a state examination. After another year at the university, you will take the Bachelor's examination at the Medical Faculty of the University of Cologne
You will learn together with 350 other trainees at the hospital's own school for nursing professions. 75 trainees, including yourself, will complete the dual study program "Clinical Nursing" in a class of 25 people
You will have practical placements of several weeks in the diverse inpatient and outpatient areas of the University Hospital Cologne, as well as with external cooperation partners in the surrounding area
You will be individually supported by a team of qualified nursing educators, subject-specific lecturers, and practical instructors
You will benefit from the new collective agreement for relief (TV-E)
