    Description

    1,000 Signing Bonus Available*** This position includes a total signing bonus of $1,000 payable as follows: $500 upon dedicated clinic placement, $250 following 6-months of employment and $250 following 12-months of employment with UMC Physicians.


    Title:
    Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant - Full Time

    The MA/CMA provides appropriate delegated nursing care to patients, under the guidance and supervision of a licensed health care provider.

    This position is also responsible for performing activities that assist physicians, mid-level providers, nursing personnel and radiology technicians.
    8-5 Monday – Friday, potential evenings and weekends

    Use screening procedures, including medical history review, and observe

    • Maintain quality results by running standards and controls
    • Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments
    • Verify equipment function through routine equipment maintenance and
    calibrate equipment utilizing approved testing

    • Knowledge of examination, diagnostic, laboratory and treatment room
    Must be able to read and write medical terminology


    • Possess the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergencies
    • testing, record results, and administer injections.
    One-year experience as a Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant in
    Works in a well-lit, heated and ventilated building.
