TRISTAR is looking for a System Administrator II for a government customer in Bloomington, IN
Overview:
The System Administrator II will be responsible for providing top-notch solutions in a variety of areas such as system integration, troubleshooting, patching, STIG implementation, configuration management, and maintaining hardware and software.
Responsibilities:
- Perform system integration, software installation, and configuration
- Support software maintenance, hardware configuration, and setup
- Manage and resolve installation issues
- Assist in various testing activities
- Troubleshoot systems and maintain records
Requirements:
- VMWare experience in Windows and Linux
- Help desk experience at Tier 1, 2, & 3 levels
- Proficiency in Windows, Linux RedHat, SQL databases, and basic networking
- Familiarity with Active Directory/Group Policies, PowerShell, and scripting
- Experience with Smart Deploy
- US Citizenship required
- Active Secret Clearance preferred or eligibility to obtain one
- Education and Certification: BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
- IAT Level II certification with DoD 8570 preferred or willingness to obtain prior to the start date
