    Position Responsibilities:
    Lead the end-to-end management of government contracts, from procurement through closeout
    Ensure strict adherence to federal procurement regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS) and agency-specific requirements
    Evaluate contract performance and deliverables, making necessary adjustments
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and review government contract proposals
    Assess bid responses, negotiate terms and conditions, and make award recommendations
    Maintain a deep understanding of government regulations and policies
    Identify and mitigate risks associated with government contracts
    Ensure all contractual obligations are met, including reporting, audits, and security requirements
    Build and maintain positive relationships with government agencies, subcontractors, and suppliers
    Address issues and conflicts promptly and professionally
    Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to all staff levels
    Lead training sessions on government contracting regulations and procedures
    Collaborate with senior leadership to develop government contracting strategies aligned with organizational goals
    Identify opportunities for business growth through government contracts
    Utilize data and analytics to track contract performance and identify areas for improvement
    Prepare and present reports to management and government agencies as required

    Position Requirements:
    Minimum of 3 years of experience in government contracting
    Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
    Proven success in managing government contracts of varying complexity
    Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
    Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
    Ability to navigate complex government regulations and requirements
    Effective leadership and team collaboration skills
    Ethical and professional conduct with a commitment to integrity
    Excellent time management and organizational abilities
    Must be a US Citizen
    An Active Secret Clearance is required or must be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance of secret or higher, interim may be required before starting Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, or related field
    Certification in government contracting (e.g., CPCM, CFCM) is desirable
