Job Summary:
Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to healthcare providers
- Educate patients and families on managing illnesses and injuries
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Perform procedures such as phlebotomy, physical examinations, and wound care
- Utilize medical equipment for procedures like sonography and mammography
Requirements:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of [X] years of nursing experience, preferably in home health or a related setting
- Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
- Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and common procedures like spinal taps
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently and know how to use Axxess for Documentation
Skills:
- Experience in laboratory work and interpreting results
- Familiarity with ambulatory surgery center operations
- Ability to perform tasks such as phlebotomizing with precision
- Knowledge of assisted living facilities' healthcare protocols
