- This position will be traveling throughout Missouri conducting site visits to all 116 Local Public Health Agencies (LPHA).
- The purpose of the site visits is to conduct an Environmental Public Health Survey that will encompass 2 elements:
- The first is a capacity assessment and the second is a program operations standards evaluation.
- The evaluation will be review of the LPHA operations compared to the state standard.
- The information gathered during these visits will be collected using the Survey 123 electronic platform. Position will be supplied an iPad and iPhone.
- Individual will be required to complete all 116 site visits by June 30th, 2025.
- Individual will be working face to face with LPHA Administration/Environmental Staff and must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Site visits must occur between the LPHAs normal business hours.
- Will be required to submit monthly status updates.
- Will be required to report to Jefferson City on a bi-monthly basis and as requested.
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience or 5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of the principles, practices, and terminology of environmental public health.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret environmental public health regulations, requirements, and policies. Additional Requirements:
- Ability to travel throughout Missouri.
- Ability to report to Jefferson City bi-monthly and as requested.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to use electronic system for collecting information and data.
