    Job DescriptionDescriptionAnimal Emergency and Specialty Center of Knoxville is now hiring for skilled veterinary technicians to join our emergency team

    Our focus is on being a place of comfort for our clients and pets, in sickness and in health. You will have the opportunity to reach your full potential as a Veterinary Technician performing all technical responsibilities to provide quality patient care
    Here is What Your day May Consist of:
    • Intravenous catheter placement and venipuncture
    • Administer drugs (IV, SQ, Oral)
    • Assists with radiographic procedures
    • Perform diagnostic blood, urine, and fecal testing
    • Provide care to hospitalized patients
    • Manage invoices of patients
    • Client communication and education
    • Admitting and discharging patients

    Here is What You Will Bring to the Position:
    • At least 2 years of experience in veterinary medicine
    • Completion of a two-year or four-year American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) accredited program from a community college, college, or university is preferred, but not required
    • RVT, CVT, LVT, VTS is preferred, not required.
