    Job DescriptionDescriptionAnimal Emergency & Specialty Center - Knoxville is seeking to add an Emergency Veterinarian to our team.
    What we offer at our practice:
    • AAHA Accredited, state-of-the-art veterinary facility
    • The latest specialized instrumentation and equipment including 16-slice CT scanner, digital radiology, fluoroscopy unity, endoscopy, and high-def Storz tower with new laparoscopic equipment
    • Ultrasound systems including Vivid IQ and Logiq E10, E9 and V2
    • Epic 5c Philips echocardiogram
    • Arthrex equipment, LigaSure, Autocon III, Storz Ho-YAG laser, Synthes locking plates, and ESF equipment
    • A team of board-certified surgeons and specialists that practice collaborative medicine between all departments to provide patient's comprehensive care
    • Modern Intensive Care Unit that is staffed 24 hours a day so that your patient is carefully monitored post-operatively
    • Over 20 highly trained Licensed Veterinary Technicians
    • Cure for Cats Thyroid Treatment Center
    • Diverse and exciting caseload

    Our ideal candidate:
    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
    • One year of emergency practice experience is preferred, but not required (we do offer an amazing mentorship program for new grads)
    • Passionate about practicing outstanding medicine, but also building and fostering a strong team
    • Strong communicator who models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients
