Our company is seeking a
Registered Dietitian for long term care nursing facility in
Melbourne, Florida area.


Registered Dietitian
Summary of Job Duties:

  • Assess and monitors the Resident's nutritional status, provide recommendations to medical staff, and develop adequate care plans.
  • Evaluate the special needs of Residents regarding nutrition support, skin breakdown, and significant weight loss.
  • Partner with the interdisciplinary team to review and adjust resident's care plans.
  • Work closely with Speech Pathologists to ensure appropriate mechanically altered diets are provided for residents with dysphagia.
  • Perform other jobrelated duties as they become required.

Registered Dietitian
Qualification:


  • One year of experience as a
    Registered Dietitian in a Long-Term Care setting preferred.
  • Must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Nutrition or Dietetics as well as the completion of the accredited Dietetic Internship program.
  • General clinical knowledge, knowledge of nutritional supplements and knowledge of therapeutic diets.
