    Description

    Senior Mechanical Engineer

    Palo Alto, California United States

    Salary: $150-210K

    I am working with a super exciting, leading modular on-site Hydrogen company in Palo Alto, CA who are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team Their pioneering fully automated electrolyzers can scale to any size and optimize efficiency at all loads.

    The ideal individual will be hands-on, collaborative and eager to problem-solve

    Responsibilities:

    • Create detailed designs, and build mechanical prototypes.
    • Ability to utilize and arrange optimal hardware components including sensors, pipes, and valves.
    • Complete analysis of thermal, structural, electrical, chemical, and fluid interactions using FMEA.
    • Create Balance of Plant Cost/ Bill of Materials

    Require Skills:

    • BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
    • 4+ years experience with hands-on experience assembling mechanical systems including the EV/Automotive and eVTOL/Aerospace industries - battery, energy storage and electronics packaging in a power electronics environment also relevant.
    • Experience designing and building structures using 3D CAD and/or 2D drawings, FMEA experience.
    • Bonus qualifications - working with hydrogen, mechatronics, designing enclosures for electromechanical systems.
