SUMMARY
Call center agents are responsible for successfully managing large amounts of inbound calls; understand the responsibility of serving as the first point of contact for patients of our practice; schedule patients for office visits, procedures, and other tests while clearly communicating instructions to patients; and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills to ensure coordinated efforts and patient satisfaction.
Call center agents should be able to process and disseminate vast amounts of information and possess an aptitude for learning and continual development.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answering telephonic inquiries in a timely manner
- Greeting callers in a friendly, professional manner
- Entering new patient information into system; update existing patient information
- Routing calls to appropriate resource
- Familiarizing yourself with and remaining uptodate with changes in our plans
- Researching required information using available resources
- Identifying and escalating priority issues
- Managing and resolving patient complaints or concerns
- Demonstrating teamwork and support for fellow care team members by offering assistance
SKILLS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a Call Center Agent or equivalent, ideally within a similar setting
- Computer literate with an aboveaverage typing speed
- Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical record (EMR) preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant experience preferred if practice is in need of medical assisting
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
- Superb listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to calm irate customers
- Capacity to handle stressful situations with ease
Pay:
$ $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.00 per week

- Morning shift
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
