Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Educational Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience in an educational setting, preferably within a charter school environment in NYC.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Proficient in current educational technologies and IT infrastructure management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a technology plan that aligns with the school's mission and educational goals, including infrastructure upgrades, software and hardware acquisitions, and the integration of new teaching technologies.
Management: Oversee the IT team, including hiring, training, and performance management. Manage relationships with vendors and service providers.
Infrastructure and

Network Management:
Ensure reliable operation of IT infrastructure, including network security, data storage, and backup systems. Oversee the maintenance and upgrading of hardware and software.

Educational Technology Integration: Collaborate with faculty to integrate technology into the curriculum, supporting innovative teaching methods and enhancing students' learning experiences.

Pay:
$120, $160,000.00 per year
